dont think there's any reporting as damning as that yet, but from what i've seen it partially comes down to "theyre being overproduced on farms in California"

this is after medieval era but I've been meaning to read more about Abbé de Choisy, crossdresser and memoirist from the 17th century. dont know much about de Choisy but she got a shout out in... i think Before Trans by Rachel Mesch which is about three 19th century French transmascs

The deaths of transmascs, the violences against them, their unique challenges in accessing care, both reproductive and otherwise, are all ignored when it's time to spout off a useless dunk on a transphobic propagandist to the tune of, "Oh, you didn't think of trans men, did you?" They did!

two comics i adore: Love Me Like You're Real by Cynthia Yuan Cheng is a phenomenally cute story about learning to actively pursue your desires! i gushed about it a lot when it came out; and In Fair Verona by Val K. Wise is yucky and horrifying and ambiguous in the best way

The Scales of Seduction by Rien Gray is definitely a fave, i immediately handed it to my roommate after i read it and she has yet to return it because, as she reported to me, she can only read a few pages at a time before getting too horny to continue

When people ask me how transmasc people should dress, I feel the process is not that different from other men. First, you have to figure out what kind of aesthetic language resonates with you. Then identify the history and contours of that language.
