Thank you for that memory. It makes sense to me, especially given many modern sportbikes use similar sensors, just mounted away from pickup coils.
I think this vacuum "fine-tuner" is an elegant example of how porous the border between Analog & Digital systems are.

KUT Austin's show "The Disconnect" does a very good analogy using a drumbeat to describe the frequency of the grid which I found really intuitive and sparked my interest (pun intended) in the mechanics of the grid.

Have you used D-76 for stand devloping? I'm interested in doing that, but haven't been able to find any good info on dilution ratios & time. What do you use?

Nice! Soldering is something I try to avoid, but had to do to get at my Yaschica's shutter. Suprisingly it went well. Hope your project does too!

It was over like 3 months, both a friend and me were devloping rolls we shot. So I had help. I noticed it was getting progressively less clear after 11/12 rolls otherwise I was impressed. Even pushed & pulled with it by changing temp.

That's gorgeous! Coffee & a good book there would be a perfect short escape from the real world

Ahh yeah, they can be tricky to find stuff for. K&S sometimes has rebuild kits for petcock & carb gaskets. The VFRs are a little more rare

I think it's an '86 as well but off the V45 Magna, the 750cc one with a fuel pump and two tanks.
