Some American people. Let’s hope it’s not a minority!
US could eventually become just like Russia, full of depoliticized people that just follow whatever the leader says.
The first step of government purge already started. Don’t let it get that far, as there’s a point of no return.

Portugal lives in its own bubble.
Especially in the interior. Last time I visited family I had to listen to my own brother repeating propaganda from Chega, and praising the “Estado Novo”.
I still hope there’s smart people left over there that can help to steer the ship. I can’t do it anymore.

That is not true!
Even president Donald Trump supported it!
UK managed to finally get those free trade deals with US. Let’s not forget the weekly 350M£ to the NHS.
Dear 🇬🇧 people, I forgive you. You can be a bit dumb sometimes (like all of us), but compared to 🇺🇸 voters, you all look like geniuses.

You know Germany does not own copyright claims on artillery shell production right?
Germany is now providing almost 20% of your claimed number. You just need 4 other countries to offer the same level of commitment to reach the goal.
How many shells Trump administration did commit?

Are you using Trump’s narrative as a source?
There’s your problem right there!
It’s was never about weapons, or the economy. US is world’s biggest arms dealer, and its economy was growing quicker than any other western country.
Trump is just a wannabe dictator and you are just an useful idiot.

That’s not hindsight, it’s just severe blindness.
NATO countries spend more in US weapons than Israel and Taiwan combined.
So “we shouldn’t have bought weapon in the first place”.
The mistake was subsidizing the US arms industry in first place. Now Europe is up for a capitalist hostile takeover.

It’s already an improvement. Usually it’s the Democrat’s fault.

It’s also the start of the 17th sanctions package.

You have a point, but you need to tell that to the people who keep voting for this kind of parties.
Same with Trump, Orban, Putin, Fico & friends. It’s all the same kind of 💩.
I don’t understand why people still expect a different result.

Why not? PiS is a populist conservative right wing party.
Although I don’t believe they stole 100M€.
Are we saying that a well know corrupt party, stole less than 0.5% of the funds coming from the EU?!?
Yeah, sure! And I have a bridge to sell you.

Most of his audience voted for him because they want cheaper eggs.
I wouldn’t consider them very smart or informed.

Americans usually call it “bringing freedom and democracy”.
Next step is usually selling you expensive old generation military equipment that is also described as “Americans paying for other countries defense”

Nope.
- Ukraine gives all its resources to the US.
- EU gives all its money to buy US weapons that won’t be delivered.
- Ukraine gets handed over to Russia.
- People will blame the Democrats

At this point the stash it’s probably in worse state than North-Korean weapons.

Nobody needs to listen to me. I was just stating the official data provided by Ukraine and their partners.
I am just reposting the information here.

Talk is cheap, show me the numbers.
Also show me how do you use a fighter jet to stop a ballistic missile.
I am not even sure how feasible is to use them to shoot down slow targets like small drones.
You use F-16s to stop cruise missiles, which was only a small percentage of this attack.
comment in response to

It wouldn’t. Ukraine lacks trained pilots and crew, not F-16s.
You would end up with 50 F-16s seating unused in Ukrainian hangars.

The 🇪🇺 gave to Palestinian people 992M€ since 7 Oct 2023, totaling 1.2B€ of humanitarian aid sent since 2023
Plus an operational maritime and air bridge aid delivery corridor
Is that your definition of shame?

I met with some older generations in Portugal that love to complain about the EU and current living conditions.
Just to hear them describing their youth, where they walked barefoot and had to soak old bread in water to make it soft enough to eat.
Some people really have short memory.

Exactly the opposite of codfish!
At least it’s a bit more consistent when it comes to wine, where the production matches the consumption.

Drive more se we get less traffic jams and healthier cities?
Smoke harder so we improve lung cancer treatments?
Carry bigger guns to prevent murder?
You should lead by example. Burn your house down, I am sure you’ll incentivize the development of fire resistant materials or something.

Should we call it a “democratic” coup?
The worst part of all of this is that not even his own party supports this move.

Without a trained crew and spare parts it’s just an oversized paperweight.
But it’s definitely a great morale boost! And that can make a decisive difference in battle.

That is correct indeed! Good one.
I was explicitly referring to the connector shown on the image. It was my first time hearing the “kettle lead” name, I assume it’s probably an UK term? I don’t think Americans invented kettles yet.

Why not call it IEC 60320 C13/C14 connector instead?

He’s not wrong! Half of US just citizens just managed to that by electing Trump!
Probably not 95%, but definitely a significant and long lasting figure.
But we don’t need Ruzzia to tell us that!

It’s actually a known design for high speed drones (you can search yourself).
The bottom/rear propellers allow for vertical takeoff, rotating 90° as it gains speed. Flying similar to a missile at cruising speeds, just with longer fins for extra required lift.
