Well then thank you for sharing. These days, we need to get our laughs whenever we can šŸ˜’

Theyā€™re despicable. They think autism and ADHD are automatically disabling. They have no idea of the ways in which both of these can have positive effects.

They should ordain him. That would prove once and for all if God exists. If God did exist, Iā€™d expect a bolt of lightning to strike him right on Trumpā€™s stupid orange head.
comment in response to post
Yes!! America is ONE country. Europe is a family. Sometimes a dysfunctional one, but a family nonetheless. Trump has no idea who heā€™s messing with.

Those are all genius and I bow to your pun powers šŸ˜šŸ˜šŸ˜šŸ˜šŸ˜

Trump will proclaim himself Pope. The fact he isnā€™t Catholic or a cardinal is immaterial.
comment in response to post
All of those are awful but I still laughed. Thankfully Iā€™m an atheist so I donā€™t believe Iā€™ll go to hell.
comment in response to post
Agreed. Iā€™m an atheist but he seemed chill. Itā€™s not right to have to keep working when youā€™re 88. Popes should have an upper age limit.
comment in response to post
I know, right?! The media is paid to talk us down but we are an amazing people, and most folk want to find our DNA in theirs! That says everything. I love my country and it makes my heart sore that we have to take everything Westminster dishes out.
comment in response to post
Yep. Being good little slaves.

It makes me so angry & frustrated that people are willing to accept the lies that the unionist press spews. How about having some backbone, ffs, and believing in your country?
comment in response to post
Once again GG, you have nailed it. Knowledge & information are the only things that will destroy them.
comment in response to post
Unbelievable isnā€™t it? Apparently they have the ability to reverse time šŸ˜

The same folks who wear MAGA hats & worship Trump, had grandparents who cheered when Emmett Till was murdered. Hell, maybe they had grandfathers who were part of the lynch mob. I do not understand any POC, women or LGBTQ+ voting for this abomination.

Iā€™ll tell you what does my head in, folk here who say, ā€œOh we canā€™t survive independently, weā€™re too smallā€ Thatā€™s shite. Scotland has been responsible for more inventions, technological breakthroughs & engineering firsts, per head of population, than any other nation. We need to remember that!
comment in response to post
Itā€™s sickening. The family of my daughterā€™s ex were mental unionists. They were all in the Orange Lodge & the granny had a UDA banner in her garden. She lives in NI. They all voted Reform last year, even tho the candidate didnā€™t even live in Scotland. Thick as pig shit they are.
comment in response to post
We also need to find a way to combat the media disinformation about our capability to thrive independently. The MSM are all pro unionist so theyā€™ll just keep pumping out lies and plenty of folk will swallow them. You only have to look at America to see how gullible people are.
comment in response to post
The rise in support here for Reform is the thing that I find most alarming. I thought we were better folk than that. I assume some are Tory voters whoā€™ve found a party thatā€™s even more racist and have switched allegiance there, but that doesnā€™t account for all of it.
comment in response to post
I looked at the latest YouGov poll & it says only 25% support independence. Which I find awfully hard to believe. Especially in light of that election poll the other week.
comment in response to post
And if that DOES happen, surely Westminster would have a very hard time justifying refusal of another vote.
comment in response to post
However, if this poll accurately predicts what the results will be next year, I imagine those results would count as a mandate.
comment in response to post
Without a mandate for a second referendum you mean? How would that be determined? Itā€™s not like the UN would request Scotland holds a vote to vote on whether we have a referendum. And opinion polls arenā€™t reliable so they wouldnā€™t count. I know SNP were skelped last year but that means nothing.
comment in response to post
It would have to be. I do not trust Westminster not to interfere and I DO NOT trust Unionists not to interfere. Cameronā€™s stunts at the 11th hour last time, putting the wind up older ppl about pensions & his lies about guaranteeing EU membership, were the two main reasons that the vote was ā€˜Noā€™.

I donā€™t see any reason given for firing her, other than Hegsethā€™s general desire to rid the military of ā€˜wokeā€™. It doesnā€™t say anything about her being particularly ā€˜wokeā€™, so Iā€™m choosing to believe itā€™s because sheā€™s a woman. They are literally demonstrating why DEI existed in the first place šŸ¤¬
comment in response to post
Thatā€™s why Felon Trump wants to get rid of DEI, because HE is a perfect example of an inadequate white person who got ahead in life due to their white privilege. Itā€™s absolutely no surprise that the exceptional black man has been fired. Theyā€™ll replace him with a white person whoā€™s far less able.

Iā€™ve read a lot of Stephen King in my time, this has led me to believe that people from Maine are not to be messed with.
comment in response to post
Iā€™ve read enough Stephen King to know you should never fuck with Maine.
comment in response to post
Thatā€™s what I mean. People dismiss everything he says as him just spouting nonsense, but a lot of what he says, he actually ends up doing. Except the wall obvs. He could easily say the electoral system is compromised, so midterms are suspended until itā€™s been rectified. Which will be never.
comment in response to post
He doesnā€™t have to be competent. He could have a degree in Dental Hygiene from Cuyahoga Community College, and Trump would still have picked him. Heā€™s unswervingly devoted to his idol & will do whatever heā€™s told. Thatā€™s why heā€™s there. He wonā€™t be running ANYTHING.
comment in response to post
If a Dem nominee looked like that, the GOP would demand he be deported. Theyā€™d throw a tantrum until his nomination was withdrawn. But heā€™s not a Democrat soā€¦šŸ¤·ā€ā™€ļø

Every time I see that photo it reminds me to buy some anti-fungal cream.
comment in response to post
../ he just gets Elmo & his dweeb squad to fabricate the results in order to retain control of Congress. Either way, there wonā€™t BE a scenario where he doesnā€™t get to keep his grip on the country. Democracy is dead in America.
comment in response to post
Iā€™ve said this before and people have assured me that it wonā€™t happen. However, with each passing day of this fascist regime, it feels less unlikely to me. Why on earth would he allow elections, when he probably knows heā€™d lose both houses? Alternatively, the elections go ahead as planned, but../
comment in response to post
Iā€™m not confident the midterms will happen next year. I can see a scenario where the felon announces that after an ā€˜extensive FBI investigationā€™, serious flaws in the electoral system have been identified, & the midterms are suspended until these are resolved. Which may take ā€˜some timeā€™* *100 years

Well, from the comments, the consensus appears to be that he had been drinking. I had no idea who he was either, just another smug old dude secure in his white privilege šŸ˜’
comment in response to post
Aw bless your wee heart. Your ā€˜leaderā€™ is a self-serving criminal who just weaponised the FBI against anyone who crosses him. But there were plenty of Germans who thought Hitler was a ā€˜real leaderā€™ at the beginning. Have fun in your new police state. Well, until they turn on YOU that is.
comment in response to post
Iā€™m gonna do this because you might catch heat for it, but it was J Edgar Hoover who led the FBI, Herbert Hoover was a president. Sorry šŸ˜¬
comment in response to post
Thatā€™s what Iā€™m really hoping for. But itā€™s a race against time at the moment. And with Patel at the FBI, who even knows what will happen there?
comment in response to post
Yep. Why do so many awful people choose politics? That was a rhetorical question btw šŸ˜’ I wish I could believe hell was what awaited him.
comment in response to post
Unless (until) Trump absolutely destroys the economy, people will just sit on their hands. They may SAY itā€™s awful, thst Musk is a nightmare, thst Trump is power mad, but they will only do more than that IF they suffer financially. Most people wonā€™t fight until their backs are against the wall.
