Interesting. I can bet those were lively and interesting conversations, indeed

Someone I was talking to the other day said that those of us trying to revive the practice need to come together and teach one another. If we put the small bits of knowledge we each have together, I bet we'd fill a lot of those missing pieces.

You are NOT bound to the evil they planted inside you. No, YOU are beauty defined.
You are power and might and stardust…
…and when the darkness of night wraps around you, remember.
Remember that we have been here before.

Merry meet. I'm a fellow Appalachian. Born and raised in West Virginia. I always love to see our people sharing their knowledge and love for our beautiful land & culture.

It's insane. Maybe the world turned upside down and no one told us.

One of my favorite things to do is to take slow motion videos of my candles/flame. It gives a whole different perspective and appreciation of the 'living' nature of flame.

At this point, just watch it burn. I'm so tired of trying and caring. I'm gonna need someone with actual power to stand up.
How bout it, God?
(I'm mostly joking. I know we can't really just give up. I just don't know what else to do at this point).

I'm a folk witch (Appalachian Granny Magic) and a Druid (Creative Magic). I'm also very interested in Hedge Witchery, so I reckon I'll get around to learning that at some point.

I follow the Wheel of the Year as a way to align with the solar cycle of transformation and as a way to tend our own creative fire.
For me, Imbolc is the first spark of the flame of creation. It's the time of the year when the ground is warming and our ideas/manifestations are coming alive. /|\

I wasn't a fan of Red Book anyway. I was on there one day and it was kinda meh. I guess I'll see you over on Loops, then!

I hear that. I left Twitter years ago because it was poisoning my spirit. I am trying to figure out how to get off Facebook.
The problem is that I facilitate and promote local spiritual events. I haven't quite figured out how I'm going to do that without it.

I got the virtual classes and the book for Ovate. I like listening to the audio from the online course...but I HAVE to have the physical copy to hold in my hand.
I need to mark them up, and carry them to the park with me.
