Canada is not going to waste its time and energy following Trump's on-again, off-again tariff tantrums. We've put our first round of countervailing tariffs in place and they're going to remain in effect until Trump figures out what he wants to do and gives us a solid, credible, long-term plan.

It's not just latencies. Communicating with low earth orbit satellites requires much smaller antennas and much less power. There's a big difference between sending a signal 150 miles and 25,000 miles.
