It's both, the only reason it's cut to save money which feels so cheap when it is CBS's most watched show.
The longer game gives more time for relationships to matter, it also gives more time to see camp life unfold. The show is so strategy centric cause they're voting basically every other day

One of my favorite storylines of both seasons of White Lotus is highlighting the hypocrisy of young, rich characters who pretend to be much more progressive than they actually are.
I'd love to see characters like Olivia or even Albie return and see who does that character grow up to be.

I don't even mean this in a "oh he's unlikable" kind of way.
Like he's so often trying to force story around him but the story makes no sense and isn't interesting.
