My little girl is growing way too fast. She’s almost 5 months old. She’s already trying to crawl and last night we found two teeth had come through. I am still processing the fact I have a real human child and here she is growing damn teeth!!

What are all you lovely people planning for the weekend? I’m looking forward to seeing my grandma tomorrow, and time with my little family on Sunday. My husband works weekdays so weekends are wonderful bonding time for him and baby girl.

For some reason I thought baking cookies when baby went to bed was a good idea, forgetting how noisy the electric mixer is. I was determined so ended up grabbing the extension cord and mixing the ingredients in the backyard on the outdoor table 😂

Art in progress! I love when art feels right. The colours are right. The shapes are right. Everything is sitting just where it’s meant to be. This is intuitive painting to me. The final element to these paintings will be some sweet strawberries 🍓

ADHD and parenting is a challenging combo sometimes. I am constantly reminding my brain that I am focusing on the baby and that I can’t act on the endless number of impulses that come up. I have such strong impulses to create that I feel like I *have* to do it *now*.

What a rough few days it’s been with the little one. She had her 4 month immunisations the other day and has been so unsettled. She seems better today so we might brave an outing. I think a walk might do us both some good.
