It's usually enforcement at-the-door. They shouldn't let guests in 3 hours before departure (or whatever the policy happens to be for your respective lounge).

From the inside of a F500 company looking out, the job market is rough, and I suspect many large companies/agencies (who would be absorbing a lot of graduates) have also frozen hiring. It seems like startups are really the only places scaling headcount.
Best of luck.

Do they?
Given that the Android Media3 prefetching stuff is going to be optimized by default for short-form video, and that IIRC YouTube has been making gains over traditional *and* streaming media for screen time (anecdotal, from what I could remember from Q4'24/Q1'25), I'm not so sure.

To the sycophants, human suffering - especially in the realm of the mind - is a disease to be cured, rather than a condition to be studied and introspected on. They'll do whatever it takes to avoid questioning the things that gnaw at their psyche in the dead of night.

For as long as I've been around (which, mind you has been not very long) it feels like the main promise has and continues to be "the 1 technological innovation that will save us all". If we could *just* isolate and distill the human experience into an algorithm, we can eliminate all problems.

I've been reading a bit of existentialist philosophy recently and I think it's interesting to draw the parallels.
To me, the recent hype around AI feels like another round of people who are willing, very openly, to discard their humanity for the sake of something that promises utopia.
