This assumes that he is physically in the White House when he presses that button instead in Mar-a-Lago or somewhere else. However, losing the White House soon after pressing that button would at the very least further damage his legitimacy.

Tell that to Georgia, Crimea, the Donbas, ect. And the "NATO encroachment" was simply a country choosing to join NATO out of fear of Russian invasion, the exact same reason many former Warsaw Pact members joined it. Stop repeating the talking points of a blood soaked dictator.

Its purpose of mutual security extends far beyond that. Of course, Russia is still a brutal, expansionist, imperialist dictatorship, so NATO's primary purpose still stands. Why do you think Putin and other dictators want it gone?

Putin wants to weaken, and if possible, end NATO. America invading fellow NATO countries would do that, allowing him to invade eastern Europe.

Trump has no intention of going to war with Russia. They are in bed together, and Putin is likely why Trump wants to go after our allies.
