I mostly use social media in relation to neurodiversity and disability, but sometimes get caught up in a bit of politics.

26 reposts / quote posts, and one like. I'm guessing it was mostly quoting like yours.

That would be a coin with a lot of sides.

I truly did not mean to offend, so I'm sorry if I have.

More to the point it was the straight interpretation of my own words which I undermined in this manner.

Sort of. I adopted a common format for the sake of humour, which apparently missed its mark. Your interpretation is undermined by the fact that I criticised you with regards to dictatorship, which you had not invoked, and not with regards to good governance.

What I was getting at was how far outside of good governance we are. The sort of rules of behaviour you are talking about have been left a long way behind. Hence the dictatorship reference.

I must have needed a tone indicator. My intention was not to insult.

You clearly don't understand the fundamental principles of dictatorship.

I guess events in Gaza established that enough Americans will turn a blind eye to such behaviour.

It's not so much that any one of these meal photos stands out, but the variety is huge.

When they go to school is another big milestone, in terms of having time to do a few more things.

One thing that really did make a difference was to get onto a long acting anti-inflammatory so I could get a decent night's sleep. Back then it was slow release Naproxen, but these days there's some safer alternatives for taking them for a long time that are less likely to mess up your stomach.

I had frozen shoulder after a dislocation. It's not much fun. My physio told me there's not much to be done about it. It gets worse for a few months, plateaus, then gets better, and predictably takes about a year. He said to just come back when that bit was over to work on recovering movement.

If you ask for a report with citations on why Dragons cause ADHD, and Princesses are prone to chronic Illness, then ChatGPT will give provide the report. It should come as no surprise that the citations will be fake.

If you ask it for a story with a princess and a dragon it'll give you one, with well formatted sentences. It'll be a dull story, and if you look up the dragon you'll find it never existed.
Same thing.

I suspect that Murdoch is scared of Trump undermining the credibility of the whole right wing project. I.e. Murdoch wants a better actor, not a better government.

“Never in American history has the federal government taken a position on public health like this,” Kennedy wrote.
That could very well be true.

I just had a quick look at an image search. Looks like they tend to be much higher waisted than most medical compression tights? Seems like that would be a good thing for POTS.

The "40 times higher than the legal limit" claim is a bit strained also in that it compares concentration in tampons with concentration in water on the basis of the weight of the product. How does daily exposure compare?

There's no meaningful duopoly. Liberal and Labour might as well be one party.

They're mostly run by church groups here. They aren't pushy about religion though.

It depends where you are. I know of half a dozen or so food banks in my area. Only one charges, and that's $4 for a box of pantry goods, and they have a few other items they charge for by the item, but at very reasonable prices.

Not that I'm against those things, but with mass deportations and people being disappeared off the streets, maybe there's more urgent stuff to worry about right now?
These seem like the concerns of the comfortable.

I can see why you might like an option to blend in socially when others are drinking, but in that case the question becomes what's available at that venue, not what's in Europe.

Honestly, I don't know of any kind of imitation of alcoholic liquor that is worth the bother. Certainly nothing as good as a hot chocolate.

That's been my experience when doctors leave clinics. I suspect it's written into their contracts?

Europe: let's call Canada, Mexico, Greenland, India, Australia, China and this penguin island..., maybe they want to trade. Then we can all ignore America together...
