how did I miss that Finale was a thing?! I say I'm a fan but I haven't even made it all the way through 2 yet, I keep getting distracted 😭

I'll have to check this out later! normally not my cup of tea, but I have a soft spot for Mary Skelter by them 😁

springtails help with mold and you can buy cultures cheap online, however adding them to an insectivorous environment may just be a recipe for disaster? 🫒

putting on my big stomping boots and hiking backpack as I place my ear to the ground, "mmm, yeah. there's a dungeon growing down there and I aim to do some crawling"

also just always annoyed at this invisible button in that it is ALWAYS there but only appears when you hover over it if you see a video you want to watch and just generally aim at the thumbnail, you may click this link instead. anyone else? do any humans still use the internet out there? hello?

no real advice other than to say I'm right there with you it's hard not to take it personally, or feel like it's a personal failing. I think some of the first step is just shoveling away as much of that guilt as possible and accepting that we're in this together and giving each other grace for it

Aimed at Gackt, landed on a Belmont not a problem, tho (if you're new here, check out our game, ABYSS X ZERO: store.steampowered.com/app/2872300/..., it's where this character is going to appear!) #gamedev #blender #lowpoly #indiegame

always asking myself: which swanboy character am I most like? until I'm forced to admit it's probably the worst aspects of all 3

undertale.fandom.com/wiki/Moldbygg moldbygg made a huge impression on me, back in the day. it was one of the first times I felt really seen. it was ridiculous, and a little silly, and cute, I loved it [Unhug] You don't hug Moldbygg. It appreciates your respect of its boundaries.

bluesky has failed to save me from all the toilet seats I willingly smashed my head through, so I do have to believe it's still at fault for something

on-site isn't ideal, but old school institutions like banks or hospitals are THE place to hang your IT hat these days, IMHO slower to adopt new tech (used to be a downside, now a positive), more secure, and overall more stable used to sysadmin for a bank, best job I had until I got laid off

right?! it's supposed to be a very tech-first country, but I'm still stuck with our bureaucracy on this side πŸ˜…

still researching, I may actually be able to apply for it once I've arrived in the country which would just be SO much easier

Packard Bell 150Mhz with ~1.5GB of storage and I wanna say 4MB of RAM, tops? started on Windows 3.1 but eventually upgrading to Windows 95. I remember always "quitting to DOS" to play my favorite games since it felt like they ran like rubbish with all the additional OS overhead. things never change

to boot, fandoms are just better creators themselves it used to feel like the only way to get good content was to have enough mainstream appeal that someone with money would generate it for you. now mainstream frequently siphons the best fan content off the top (Christian Whitehead - Sonic, etc.)
comment in response to post
generally bad when I was younger I think I would have loved it more, too, but the internet has changed mainstream appeal is less valued and many fandoms have learned the importance of creating their own value for themselves

it's real, but if I'm honest, the biggest innovation is the work they're putting into Windows to make it more portable and align with SteamOS capabilities cynically, it just kinda feels like a Microsoft attempt to lock the hardware and software back down again when we were just getting fresh air

my ideal future is another slick Playstation handheld like the Vita, which was always done so dirty a bit of nice Sony hardware that you could load Linux onto while they continue to offer their online service and publish to storefronts

consoles are really struggling in the moment right now, especially because AAA graphics and development feel unsustainable Nintendo has had the space locked down for awhile so they're fairing better, but Microsoft is seeing the need and Sony won't be far behind

yeah! there's so much in there that's specifically Link's Awakening, it's interesting that it's such a unique vibe to hone in on lot's of Castlevania and other things in there too!

one of my favorite guilty pleasures the narration didn't do a whole lot for me, but damn some of those monster designs are fire I hope the character creation is still ridiculous
