My grandfather, Donald McMurchy, was a paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne. He landed on Normandy that day, the day after his birthday. He was injured shortly after and was awarded a Purple Heart. Don’t let his sacrifice be in vein. 💜

Right? I am deep in the MN woods and my partner can’t figure out why I am glued to my phone. 🥂

This is so hilarious because…
I live and travel full-time in my RV. I spend 90% of mytime off-grid where most people don’t go.
The literal bane of my current existence is people mowing. Literally everywhere, all the time, I wake to the sounds of lawnmowers. 24 months, 23 states, and 15,000 miles.

My family sacrificed lives for this country as did many others. They did not sacrifice their lives, nor their honor for this perturbation. 🥺

Ya know…I am old enough to get a senior discount but my soul is young enough to rave. I can dance for three days and I don’t look this beat. This is someone whose present moment is not a space they want to be in.

And there is a huge gap between therapeutic and abuse!

I had the chance to see Grace Slick do this live at the Riverside Theater in Milwaukee on the 20th anniversary of the Woodstock Anniversary. Blew my 19 year old mind! 🤯 www.setlist.fm/setlist/jeff...

The sad thing is shrooms, ecstasy, and even ketamine did nothing to deserve this. Like so many victims of narcissistic behavior. 😢

I will take more like MN or WI for $1,000 please. After wandering this country the last 2 years, I have to say these states truly get it.

Just listened to an excellent book about the Cherokee. Massive earthquakes on the New Madrid Fault caused the Mississippi River to flow backwards for a bit. We were not living in harmony with the US first inhabitants very well back then either. nativestudy.com/when-the-mis...

Mine is a purebred miniature black panther. At least that is what he keeps claiming. 🙄

My oldest daughter is named for her. She will turn 30 this year and lives the words of Maya’s legacy beautifully. I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings changed my life in middle school and changed the trajectory of our family history with my daughter’s generation. Maya’s legacy lives on. Still I rise!

I learned that my racist upbringing was wrong. I learned that I was not the only girl sexually abused by those I was supposed to trust. I learned that I was made perfectly in spite of the narrative of my family of origin.

Reminiscing England in the 1950’s I see. Making smog great again.

This might be an extreme take. I am a Blue dot from a Red state and I drive my RV all over the country. I spent the winter in AL, FL, GA, SC, & TN mostly in remote locations where I shopped for groceries, got gas, and utilized services and had zero problems. I agree that things are rough right now.

I can assure you that many active military do not support this clown. Their hands are tied though and that is all I can say.

We just visited the graves of my ancestors. In one small community entire families are buried who died during the Spanish Flu. Families had a dozen children because many of their children died before adulthood.

Please go watch “Something the Lord Has Made” to see just how life was like before we saved babies with heart defects. It’s also a great lesson in why DEI is needed and so important.

He was part of the nightmare at Abu Ghraib. He certainly doesn’t care.

We let hundreds of kids die every year so we can have the fundamental right to stand up to tyranny only for tyranny to be celebrated because it owns the libs.
