We had a town hall with our AG (CT-D) last night. He said that his (R) AG colleagues thought Harris was going to win and were preparing for such an event.

I'm not sure of my health care providers political leanings, however, I would probably switch if they were MAGA. The vet we used to go to supported Linda McMahon when she ran for Senate. Note how I said "used to go to".

For once I can say I'm "thankful" (???) for the bozos that stole our identities and tried to file tax returns in our names. Our credit's been locked for about 10 years, free of cost.

My late father was State Dept/CIA. We lived in New Delhi during an Indian/Pakistani skirmish in the early 70's. While we had to take precautions (blackout paper on windows, etc.), my 10-year old self still felt safe. Now, this? I fear for peoples' lives.

As someone who was a dependent of a Federal employee (State Dept/CIA) living overseas, this has my stomach rolling. My late father's grave is a dustorm of cremains (alternative to rolling in the grave). Good thing I pick up my xanax refill later.

And in a nutshell, this is why I tend to not refer to POTUS by name, but instead, GOP. They own this shit.

What about John Q. Public? I'm sure my husband, who receives social security, would like to jump on board. And me, as well, just by virtue of my income tax filings.

I read yesterday that the first cowboys were black and called cowboys. The white men were referred to as cattlemen. Somewhere along the line, as is de rigueur for white folk, they stole that, too.

Coristine is a CT boy. His daddy owns Lesser Evil Snacks Company. I've seen the product on shelves and have never purchased any, and will continue in that vein.

Many have concerns about scheduled protests being organized by MAGA where there will be bad actors being violent so to had fuel to the marshal law fire. As someone said, last year, you could have been a rabblerouser, get detained, and then released. Today? Not so sure about that.

Keep your enemies close, or some shit like that? IMHO, due to his position, it's a platform worth keeping an eye on.

I'd be booing it, too. We were at a sporting event several years ago, and we made it a point to sit on the stairs near concessions while it was being played.

Canada is going hard with tariffs, and I think it's rather clever of them to target goods made in red states. This isn't going to be good for anybody.

I'd boo it, too, and I'm an American.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for your targeted tariffs. Kudos to the architect of that plan!
