i need to do more category pilled math eventually. i keep putting it off bc a lot of the stuff feels like it takes more work to internalize than a lot of other areas (at least that's my experience reading Riehl). ill give it another go sometime

We have a fucking awesome systems class that most people take as sophomores too! You have to heavily work with libc!! Assembly, types of memory, linking, virtual memory, compiling... There's so much to get your hands dirty with and it's insanely cool yet I've seen people ChatGPT the programming HWs.

Being a student at college, I am not surprised by a lot of people who strive for Big Tech Jobs doing so for the express purpose of money and prestige, this is really common sadly

A lot of ā€œrainbow capitalismā€ was really just progressive, diverse, and/or queer employees trying to use their power in a large company to push a good message, not a conspiracy by the board of directors to get rich off gay people.
