I bit the bullet and bought Marvel vs Capcom Fighting Collection. Thoughts: • x-men cota played faster than I remembered • marvel vs capcom 2 still holds up and is still better than most fighting games released afterwards • I don’t like the punisher as a character and i’d rather play as nick fury

um, so on mastodon someone decided to reply to my usb-c pcie card weirdness with a snippy “you’re gonna have to be more specific, post the lspci or lsusb results.” reading comprehension much? i said it was a windows issue, not a linux one. lspci is a Linux command. be more polite please

I got myself one of those off brand USB-C PCIe cards because I want USB-C ports in my computer. It works great—under Linux. Windows however treats it with some difficulty, like connecting and disconnecting at random intervals. I don’t know if it is drivers or what; does anyone have an idea?

to be honest, @aoc.bsky.social seems like she's the only one doing anything to mobilize and inform the public from the side of elected politicians. she's taking a leadership role that i think is being overlooked. things still look grim but at least she is doing more than the minimum.

because of the haphazard way that i changed over my iphone 14 pro to an iphone 16 pro max, it took me until today to settle my digital music collection (which apparently was also scattershot in its library locations, too). annoying but necessary; most of my physical collection resides elsewhere.
