oh yeah, no doubt, the only question is if she still worships a guy named Chris who calls himself Siddhaswarupananda Paramahamsa. if i were a betting man, i'd say yes, but denials have been made (passive voice intended)

man, there were so many in the anti-war left that ignored her barely hidden homophobia, her dalliances with Bashar al-Assad, and to top it all off, the weird offshoot cult of the hare krishnas she may or may not belong to.

yeah, and even worse is in the x2: x-men united movie’s special features where he implies nightcrawler has two dicks

up until that reveal, i was pretty sure Polaris' gov't name was a play on "Lorna Doone," those awful cookies. it might have still been. also polaris being mag's daughter was a chuck austen thing, and everything chuck austen did should be retconned out of existence tout de suite.

Even Tucker and Bannon were complaining about how they’re using the exact same playbook, though I’d never give them credit for their opposition. Coincidence, not stopped clock. The fact that this is so nakedly blatant is awful, but more awful is their bloodlust. They are absolutely gagging for it.

well, that was around the time when normal people were just then thinking "huh, maybe gay people aren't abominations?" even though plenty evangelicals still did/do. you can fit the word "trans" in there and it still applies. and professor x might be a jerk, but at least he isn't a racist like kitty

plus she's a dog murderer, which should be appended to her name every time it's invoked. it is long past time for respectfulness towards the right. the "when they go low, we go high" shit didn't work.

it's why i thought the ACA was a joke when it passed, because i'd already used the NHS when i lived in the UK. now that i live in japan, even though it's not free like the NHS, it's so inexpensive that i got a lot of stuff taken care of here that i never would have in the states. it's such nonsense.

I would not be surprised if the entire world order was turned on its head within the next several years.

although, there was a great moment back when the tea party was still known generally as “tea baggers,” and Rachel Maddow with Ana Marie Cox had quite a fun segment about that

i mean, it's not bad if you can swing it. i probably could, but i have too many subbies to too many things that are more important right now.

thank you for your advice! i will say though, i have used ardour in an actual studio recording booth for vocals, which for that purpose works beautifully, but i don't know if i'd use it as my main tool. it is pretty good though.

and not but a night ago, these fine gentleman assaulted a livestreamer for simply saying "honor your oath, bitch."

ah yes, the four humors: dark, dry, clean, and whatever the hell it was larry the cable guy did when he was popular. that's the one that explains why my knees click when i stand up.

To be fair, you have to put it in its context and in its day, and back then, very little other pop music was like it. It’s like how I feel about the Beatles; I recognize their importance to studio production and some of their songs are really good, but since then more resonant music has been made.

i've actually had a conversation with a guy about this recently. he thought *I* was the nutty one for preferring aew/njpw over wwe. he enjoyed the community theater soap opera stuff over the in-ring. there was no hope for him.

The fact that Mike Love is still around belching out bar cover band versions of Brian Wilson’s songs is unfortunate.

when i lived in birmingham, i could swear once it snowed for thirty seconds before becoming a sunny day. my time in england was a blur.

that's a good point, plus with COINTELPRO having to do the dirty work for them, i imagine they wanted more of that power in their hands. i can't help but think that the MOVE bombing also gave a lot of contemporary and subsequent generations of cops the idea that they were their own military, also.

trying to think when cops started thinking they were some unquestioned warrior caste? it was before 9/11 for sure, that was just when they doubled down on it. i need adam curtis.

this is why when win10 goes EOL, the only choice i have to make is whether or not to move my music workflow to mac or to try to beg Reason to work on Linux.

they keep doing this, and they keep failing at it. no one wants "virtual idols" or "AI artists" or whatever they want to call it this week. they've been trying for almost 30 years and not a single one sticks. except hatsune miku. she's beyond reproach.
