Negative 50 years.
It's been happening since forever. This isn't new at all. Trans women in prison got a short reprieve after PREA was passed, but it's never been properly enforced. 9 out of 10 trans women in prison still are subjected to V-Coding and have been for decades.

Not one of the injunctions applies to anyone other than the people suing except for the trans youth healthcare EO. Everything else has pretty much gone through.

Organ checklists are safer. Assuming organs based on a flawed assumption of sex can get people killed. It almost got me killed in an ER. They assumed I was male because I said I was trans. They gave me a male dose of meds and put me into

Passports didn't used to have either. The question is irrelevant. Sex on IDs is only a thing because of previous moral panics.
The real solution is to just remove sex and gender from government documents period. In totality. They only serve the purpose of oppressing trans and intersex folk.

And that requires honest dialogue, reparations for past wrongs, humble acknowledgement of privilege, and absolute rejection of dogmatic hierarchy and systems that enforce it.
That includes capitalism and dictatorial employment structures. Democracy belongs in the workplace.
