Johnny Jump-ups. There's a song about some sort of drink called Johnny Jump up that would get stuck in my head every time I saw them in the garden. They did very well the first year here in my 7a yard and reseeded for a few years as well. But I decided not to replant because I can't take the song!

Growing these got that song stuck in my head so badly, 🎶 "Oh never, oh never, oh never again, if I live I live to be a hundred or a hundred and ten ...''

I mean, depends on how dirty the water, how funky you are, etc, but this is some nonsense in a modern house, even if there are forty eleven of us, and we have to have a schedule for the showers, like come on.

Yes, and every other chore that displaces living things. Knocking down hornets, "I'm sorry, y'all.'' *thwack* *runs away*

Religiously repressed people think about sex SO much. They are by far the most pervy people I have ever known.

Right? Like I guess if you gotta tote it from the town well or the crick in a bucket, sure. I know my grandmother told me stories about that with her forty eleven siblings. But they would have done differently with indoor plumbing! And did later in life!

Is this like spending money for cat toys, and their favorite thing is the milk ring?

I like this as both technical failure and possible hostile ghosts.

Consistent communication is the doorway to quality communication and actual connection, but it's only step one.

My white girl cousins are out here trying to date these same ones who literally believe in treating women like valuable livestock. Like, honey no. 👎 👎 👎 👎 let's go for people who value our humanity and personhood.

Somebody I follow about autism just recently posted about how autistic folks have the same "inside thoughts" that we all do, but have a harder time expressing them in a softened or socially acceptable way.
Autism doesn't make you a ray cyst or a not zee. It makes you blatant about it.

So, it can be tricky to enjoy local food, but there's no language barrier here, and he tried at least twice at two restaurants. Like, if there was really a trick to it, the staff could have talked him through. English food, it would seem, is still bland.
