I have ovarian cancer and statically I have about 5 years to live. Horrified it will be just long enough to witness the collapse of America into a real dystopia where anyone who isn't uber-rich is screwed.

I'm doing a DIY make-a-wish program now that my ovarian cancer has returned. I'm totally with you.

This is so true! (I'm in treatment for an ovarian cancer recurrence.) It's validating to have someone say it.

I love that you dress up during cancer treatments. I've gone in the opposite direction and am totally digging that chemo gives me an excuse to live only in comfy joggers and leggings.

I'm a big fan of the em dash. Almost as much as the oxford comma.

I imagine my chemo as glitter bombs. Carbo is platinum -based (silver glitter) and Gemzar sounds like pretty gems (pink and purple glitter.)

This was one of my favorite books as a child...and as a parent. RIP.

I'm doing chemo for my first recurrence...which was quite a surprise since I was stage 1b high grade serous ovarian cancer. Happy to connect with you.

Doing chemo for first HGSOC recurrence (and I was stage 1b). I was thinking the very same thing. I'm pissed my last years might be during this apocalypse. Another reason to make it year 5.

Terrific audiobook. (And a little too close to reality in 2025.)

Never really thought about it in that way, but now that I have, I guess it does!

And I thought a Fribble was the world's best milkshake from Friendlys.

For my WIP (which has nothing to do with Star Trek and isn't even sci-fi), I named all the characters after #startrek characters or the actors who portrayed them. Totally fun.
