If you use a tool that you don’t understand, eventually the only output the tool will produce is a replica of your non understanding.

I guess people panic in their own way, but trying to continue the show while someone is laid out is bizarre. It’s also a perfect snapshot of why everything is going to shit. Professionalism and money over life itself.

Humans suck at letting things go. It’s fascinating. How much better would the world be if people could just let it go.

More of us need to revisit world history as adults. Stuff that seems new is really old. Old gripes rising to the surface. Old playbooks being remixed. Today’s horrors aren’t new.

I cannot wrap my brain around how sick and money obsessed some folks are. Why not take the L and move on? You sue? The media says public sentiment was insensitive, but the investors don’t care about that man at all.

I feel like the days are flying by. Every time I look up, it’s the weekend.

The more I read and write, the more genres I become interested in. I find myself in a season of wanting to write (mild) horror stories. Something about the disturbing. Maybe it’s the times.

serious reminder that your worth is not determined by how many followers you have, how many group chats or servers you’re in, how many likes you get. we’re real people attempting to be vulnerable and share the brightest (and darkest) parts of our days together. all of us have value, every single day

After months of nothing, I’ve finally drafted a short story without major holes. And I like it. What is this life?

More nerdy holidays. I love it.

When we survive this, let’s commit to not taking out our pain and grief on our children. They are not responsible for the world that was stolen from us.

Don’t assume that people care about themselves. Some people despise themselves and want to see anyone who’s like them suffer.

Keep showing up where you’re loved and supported. Watch how your world transforms.

So many horrors in one video. Chief among them is him spinning this as rehabilitation.

Imagine convincing people to fight for “human rights” for AI systems when the technology is destroying the planet.

No. We should unplug it 🔌

I prefer to be sentient ether.

It’s crazy to see how the administration is actively destroying lives while people insist the country is being fixed. AI, less jobs and hostility to DEI took out an org that was improving people’s lives and opening up opportunity.

Tech companies just spread hype and propaganda about how they’re different and/or better than the other guys, but they’ll do the same thing. Decentralized, anonymous, etc. what does it all mean when the results are the same?

A lot of people aren’t looking for partnership. They’re looking for a neck to rest their boot on.

Thank you to everyone around the world who helped bring Tesla's net income down 71%! Now THAT is a successful boycott. 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

How did we get from "Do not use Wikipedia as a source" to "ask hallucinating chatbot everything"?

If you’re willing to destroy the earth, you’re willing to kill.

Soft life ✨

When you’re numb, it takes a lot to feel. Things have to be more and more potent, sometimes to the point that they’re damaging. Harder/more isn’t always the answer. Sometimes we have to retain ourselves to feel the soft things.

I think The Nap Ministry’s rest is resistance message is so powerful because it creates a foundation for reconnecting with self, others, and ideas. Almost like it’s the pre-work. Rest improves everything that you do, be it physical or mental. Stopping to sleep, nap & daydream is revolutionary.

The thing that I’m most grateful for as a result of being on social media is the loosening of the gender binary shackles. I say loosening because there’s much that I’m still working through, but I breathe easier.

I’m reading No Death, No Fear by Thich Nhat Hanh, and the section on impermanence has my wheels turning. He talks about hate being impermanent and recommends meditating on the distant future (300 years from now) to help with evaporating hate. I agree to an extent, but….
