There's no reforming American law enforcement, which is absolutely corrupt right down to its roots. The entire institution needs to be burned down, using only a very small cadre of highly trained and ACCOUNTABLE armed response officers, with the rest of the money put into community care.

So, how about the Senate censure him? Seriously, if the House - including a number of Democrats - censured Al Green for "disrupting" Trump's SOTU rant, doesn't this deserve a censure? In a decent society, Congress would expel him, but we know that won't happen.

This is a perfect example of the problem with the Democratic Party: I think this is a great idea (also great to do it for people food that's trashed). BUT ENGAGING IN BIPARTISANSHIP WITH A PARTY ACTIVELY ENGAGED IN DESTROYING OUR DEMOCRACY IN REAL-TIME IS NOT THE WAY. Unbelievable.

If you are too young to remember the Iraq War, you'll hear "no one protested" and "no one knew they were lying." Millions of people knew they were lying and protested. The press not only did not want a record of mass dissent; they did not want a record of mass knowledge of lies.

I can't think of anyone currently running for office more dangerous than Andrew Cuomo. Not just for NYC but for the nation, because unfortunately NYC disproportionately affects the rest of the states. Bad politicians elsewhere don't have the same structural power. NYC: Do not vote for this man.
