it's kinda weird, cuz there's a whole academic field of queer theory to rage about but reactionaries have Wikipedia tier knowledge of shit so Butler gets their 5 minutes of hate every time the subject is breached

maybe ive imbibed the soup for too long but i find Butler eminently readable, like every time someone posts one of their "obscure" passages, it reads fine to me. like yeah you might need to be familiar with like 10 French guys from the 70s but not so familiar that the words require a degree to get

had to unlearn the belief that people i love will suddenly drop dead of completely unknown medical ailments for no good reason, but i fear i have bent the stick too far in the opposite direction and have convinced myself that people i love will all live to be 120 years old

they're working extremely hard to implement legs, this is apparently an extremely difficult problem, it's astounding that God managed it

Townes Van Zandt style mournful country seems more appropriate, ur drinking urself to death, one of ur sons OD'd on heroin, ur other son is missing a limb from being deployed in Afghanistan. bro country says "try that in a small town", mournful country says "was it worth it?"

You evade the Dragon Queen what feels like decades until you encounter a Kindly Figure. He asks you to lay hands on him for safety. You don't trust him, but it's been centuries, you see no other escape from the Hall.

You know the only way is forward. Your heart still pounds in your ears. You hear the distant thrashing of the Dragon Queen but she sounds like an echo of an echo. The Dungeon perverts memory, time, and space. Even the Dragon Queen is ensnared by its alien will

It snaps your tiny body in its jaws and you wake up back in the save room. Though you know the danger is gone, the pain and the power still seem to resonate throughout your body.

As you enter the room through the window, you see not a Dragon Queen but a Drag Queen! She enters a combat stance!

You notice the figure's eyes gesture towards a massive stain-glass window. On it is a Dragon Queen. You are able to push through the window as if it was mere water

After what felt like days you come across a mysterious figure on a screen. "Turn back now. You are not among friends. Nothing is as it seems" You refuse to heed the cryptic advice, your lust for treasure is too great. You press on

You wander into the Halls of Infinite Madness. You wonder if you've lived here all your life; the overworld seems a distant dream.
