Yeah, I totally think CSP can work for you with this style of balloons. Where I struggled a bit was SFX and stuff like text on a curve/popping out of line, that a more text-dedicated software would probably make much easier, but if your work isn't FULL of those, I think you're good!

I did all 300+ pages of Crystal Heart in CSP, including lettering and CMYK export (which I'm no expert in, but it was good enough for my publisher). Yeah the text tools can be better, but everything else is so great that I think it's 100% worth switching.
