My least favorite thing about baking recipe books is that they like to use terminology like “scant cupfuls”, “seal and flute”, & “shape properly with spatula” that a beginner would be unfamiliar with.

I pulled a paperback off my shelf to reread that I haven’t touched in over 20 years and the font is so tiny. I’m talking like 6pt serif font. I’m so glad I read most books on screens now that allow me to adjust the font for readability.
