Hope it gets a theatrical release near me.

Saw Companion. Really enjoyed it. I was able to avoid some spoilers. Only saw the first trailer. Jack Quaid continues his pattern of lovable goofball turn loathsome loser. Sophie Thatcher shines though. Just wish this movie was less upfront with the premise.

Saw Presence. Not scary in the way I thought it was going to be. In a good way! I was left guessing what was coming in a great way. Enjoy a movie whose plot is more in the background rather than presented point blankly to the audience. 4/5

Saw Sing Sing. Fantastic movie with incredible performances. I wasn’t sure if this movie was for me. But I took a risk. So glad I did. Teared up at moments. I left the theater on an emotional high. It got me through the day ngl. A24 did it dirty with its limited release.

Saw The Wolfman. I went in too hyped, even with critics panning it. The story is too thin around the edges. A lot of build up with little to show for it. It’s really a shame. I feel like all the pieces were here for a great movie. But none of them mesh together well enough. 3/5

Saw The Last Showgirl. Phenomenal movie. Broke my heart by how we as a society treat art, specifically women who use their bodies exemplify it. How easy it is for society to discard them. Pam Anderson deserves an apology too. Society did her dirty. She’s a star.

Saw Babygirl today. I was expecting it to get more sinister than it does. But it’s a fun exploration of sexuality and how it fits into along side a monogamous relationship. Where are the lines drawn between desires, boundaries, etc. Great movie. 4/5
