i do feel like if i didnt come over three months ago with the big group i would not have lasted on this app very long in its current form. the interaction landscape has changed a lot since then. everyone used to talk to everyone then people started breaking off into groups and its very selective now

So many Black artists are making good rock right now (per usual). HUE sounds like FallOut Boy had a baby w/ go-go music. Alemeda has an EP, Fk It, that is alt/indie-pop rock (the original & unplugged versions are good). Rachel Chinouriri makes alt/indie. Yseult’s album had a couple rock ballads too.
