For me it’s not so much subject matter as passage of time. IMO, making a game about a currently ongoing conflict is a bit tasteless and tone deaf both to those fighting and their loved ones. I’d at bare minimum wait until the conflict is over before making such but ymmv.

I created this piece as the cover illustration of my new short story 'The Cerulean Candle.' After my previous story flopped, I was determined to redeem myself and overall believe that I have. Rather pleased with this piece as well despite any rough edges, decided to revisit hands again.

It occurred to me that I've been forgetting to keep up with my #artjourney on BlueSky so time to fix that. I drew this as a cover illustration for a short story I wrote called 'Care For A Game...?' Sadly the story itself did poorly but oh well, not everything can be a hit.

Way ahead of you, I already have a policy in place that if the artist is a terrible person then I will not purchase or consume their work until they’re dead so they don’t financially or critically benefit.

Sometimes I scare myself with my ideas. So basically the other week I was on a kick watching YouTube horror shorts especially those found footage ones and my muse demanded I draw something scary in that sense and that's how this came about. It's no Trever Henderson piece but hey it's something. XD

Had some very good news in the family today and whipped this together to celebrate the occasion with. Part of me feels very happy with it and another part feels like I could have done better. Then again, that's pretty much every piece. The people it was meant for enjoyed it so that's what matters.

Funny thing is I don't even show my face in videos but still get nervous by virtue of 'public speaking' in a sense. Attempted to experiment with just subtitles instead of talking but that was a lot of work I wasn't sure I felt like committing to.

Aww thank you^^ I must warn you the channel is a bit chaotic and random at present time with me trying to find my niche and what I'd really like making. For now focusing on drawing timelapses and the occasional challenge gaming video with more art content to come.
