Small update but I'm feeling mostly better after my brain tumour diagnosis 🙏they are monitoring its growth atm and seems like I will either get surgery or radiotherapy to get rid of it. I will however likely permanently losing hearing in one of my ears, but honestly it could've been a lot worse.

Another recent (and ongoing) strength imo has been the horror adjacent licenses. D&D was incredible, Lara was great, and now Tokyo Ghoul. With that said Tokyo Ghoul being considered non-horror is wild. It fits perfectly well and just as well as many licenses considered horror without a doubt.

One undeniable strength of 2024 DbD was the voice acting. We got some incredible performances both original and licensed. From the start of the year with Alan Wake to the end with The Houndmaster. Every performance was great.

DbD has such a weird issue where it has so much content it gets detrimental at times. E.g. the new Lake Ormond Mine map I've played on maybe 3 times since it came out? I rarely see newer characters on both sides. So many Perks and Add-ons with insanely low pick rates.

I like all these conditions aside the last one. I feel like there needs to be a timer after everyone is down. E.g a minute before you can surrender. What if someone wants to make an Unbreakable play? What if someone 4%'s and saves the match? I don't like how it cuts put those moments.

The biggest loss of Pinhead (aside Pinhead himself ofc) is Hex: Plaything. Awesome name. Cool icon. Banger Pinhead quote in the flavour text. All gone 😓 It being a general perk could also cause some chaos, but I have hope it'll turn out okay.
