Maybe this could even be another friend of Mikaela's? There's the possible connection of them going to the same book club mentioned in Dejavuism. Both seem to like horror or appreciate it ('Screams in the Dark' event?) The background noise sounds like a town. + OSS hospital connection. AAAAAAAAAAAAA

Screams in the Dark makes me think of some kind of horror event. Both Mikaela and Sable seemed to go to similar things hosted in Greenville. Also 'no rest for the wicked', Sable's Chapter 'All Things Wicked'. TENUOUS connections I know, but maybe something.

I'm thinking based on what she's saying that maybe it's another Greenville based character. Possibly a local doctor? In Unknown's lore the OSS is mentioned to be doing experiments in hospitals. Disappearances mentioned last teaser... hm

I am mixed on it for sure! I will have a video out around the release of the PTB where I'll give my full thoughts.
But briefly,
- I don't like the removal of the 'web' look for the archives
- I do like them streamlining challenges and the archive
- I hope the changes allow for easier lore access

It's actually possible the person she's talking about is Alex? As he escapes through a hatch type of thing after Cliff saves him. It's possible he ended up in the trials. James Rich could be possible too. He's a character noted to enjoy horror stories + is part of the House of Arkham.

Barra is also a fictional character however in another universe. In that universe Mikaela tells a story about Cliff (Barra) & Alex. Maybe the person speaking in the clip is from this club? The club consisted of unnamed men and women (one is presumably Mikaela via context clues).

His friend is called Alex btw. Barra is a writer or director of horror books/films depending on the universe. Barra goes through the torture from the Entity where he's repeatedly struck by lightning on a table, all whilst his creations from his books/films surround him in formaldehyde.

Depending on the universe, Cliff Barra (presumably the one mentioned in the clip) is a lore character who ventures into the Fog looking for his friend. He trades places with his friend to save him, and ends up going through the process of torture the Entity uses to turn people into Killers.

I know it seems like such a small thing but I have honestly done my very best over the years to try and get people to engage with the lore and make up as many ways as I possibly could to do just that. So hearing them say my name and be appreciative of a lore idea is just making me want to cry 😭

The persistent pressure you have is wild with your map traversal and constant Deep Wound application. He trivialises windows and pallets in most situations. He essentially gets a free hit on you at the start of every chase, and you cannot outrun him in literally any instance.

Also, I love when we see cutscenes that feature the wider Realm. Like here there's just a shot of a desolate red-tinted wasteland with hooks sprawled everywhere. Super creepy.

One of the recommendations is to exercise and to challenge your brain so I've been doing three 5k's a week, and started back with reading and trying to write creatively again. I definitely feel more positive than I did about it in January and the end of last year. Picking up some new hobbies too.
