New in the Rolling Release: Support for Rocket Streaming Audio Server (RSAS), a high-performance commercial drop-in replacement for Icecast. We don't ship the binaries with our instances, but you can upload them (and the license key) via the Admin panel, then use it on any station.

Minor update for Fediverse users: We've migrated our Mastodon account to a new server: floss.social/@azuracast Future updates will be posted there, here on Bluesky, and on our Discord's announcements channel.

New in the Rolling Release: we now support using Rocket Streaming Audio Server (RSAS) as your broadcasting frontend. RSAS is proprietary software, so you have to upload it yourself via the Administration panel, but once installed, it's largely a drop-in replacement for Icecast with high performance.

A little bit of history behind my open-source project's mascot, designed and given to us by the awesome Tyson-Tan. She's an homage to the project's origins in the My Little Pony fandom, though she's now on the login screen of thousands of stations worldwide. 🎶🦄

New in the Rolling Release: Post to Bluesky! We've added Bluesky web hook support to the latest version of AzuraCast. All you need is a handle and an "app password" (easily generated from the settings page). Hashtags, mentions and URLs are all supported as part of posts.

We've released AzuraCast 0.20.4 to our stable release channel. We had several reports of issues with the AutoDJ scheduler and have reverted it to the previous version. All other bug fixes and improvements from 0.20.3 are still in place.

AzuraCast 0.20.3 is now available on the Stable release channel. This version includes improvements to the AutoDJ scheduler, playlist priorities, the ability for system admins to set maximum bitrates on stations, and many bug fixes and tweaks.

We apologize for the inconvenience, but our demo instance is currently offline. We were informed by our hosting provider (Vultr) that they no longer sponsor open-source projects (despite listing our project in their own one-click app marketplace), but only after receiving a sizable services bill.

AzuraCast 0.19.2 is now available on our Stable release channel! Many bug fixes are included, as well as an upgrade to Liquidsoap 2.2.2 and support for the latest versions of StereoTool modules. View the full changelog here: github.com/AzuraCast/Az...
