Just a woodworker in the PNW like everybody else. I run Beholder Woodcrafts, I’m a forever-GM, and I really enjoy TCGs, weightlifting, and jazz

Watching season 46 right now and I’m sad to see my boy Bhanu leave

Time to sit Wyatt down for his first FF?

This is my first full season watching F1, and it’s wild to come in hearing “Verstappen this, Hamilton that” and then see McLaren just dominate the grid. Dunne is poised for a great debut 🙏🏼

Round 4 was a L against Buggy. I scooped early when I realized I misplayed a Nekomamushi trigger while they had 4 life. Buggy is a harsh matchup for Yamato as it is; I need to deal with the mass of blockers they have and I can’t swing with most of my characters, and that’s just uphill.

Round 3 W against ST21 Red Luffy. Friendly fire against one of my local players that had come up, but it’s a deck I typically struggle against. Highrolled into a Kikunojo trigger on his first swing and was able to keep his board under control. When you have it, you have it

Round 2 L to Reiju. Bad draws and an inability to answer the new 7c Ichiji led to a game that just felt dead. Too bad

Also, I’m testing a list that includes Tonoyasu after seeing how well it did at Vegas regionals, and it’s pretty neat, but I’m not sold on it yet. It would likely replace 4c Hiyori, and I’m not sure I’m ready for that yet

That said, I’ll admit I wasn’t feeling the Ashura Doji at first; ideally I want to hit fast, and with so many 4 life leaders, the ability turns off quickly, but as folks respect the double attack, it tends to come up more often.

I’m hopeful for Doctor Hubicki, he’s one of my favorite players of all time. He played the game, and was still so genuine the whole time. If not him, then Kamilla, for the same reasons, I just expect her to have more opportunities in the next few years.

The sequel is much better, but lacks the impact if you haven’t played the first game, and it’s NOT enjoyable to roll from the first, straight into the second. You really have to want it

I disagree with this solely for the fact that SMT games have much better pacing. Too often, Cyber Sleuth forces breaks in the main story for arbitrary side quests. If it weren’t for that, I’d agree wholeheartedly

Honestly, no. I’ve played through them a few times, and I love them, but the soundtrack, while good, is very repetitive, and you’re often sent back and forth to the same early dungeon with no difficulty scaling. Great for fans, but can quickly feel stale

I love that potential team, and I think they have to split up Kyle and Kamilla (but I think they’ll be big targets early as it is) Do you have a favorite to win?

Do you have any thoughts on what the “theme” of this reunion season might be? As valid as the criticisms are that a ton of seasons were just skipped over, I’m really interested in how certain pairs will interact, particularly Coach and Joe.

Oh, Johnny Fairplay….I’m so glad he’s not coming back for 50

I admire your work greatly, I buy from the shop regularly, but this is really disappointing. If it IS a third party, it would be nice to know if you’ve discussed these changes with them and how it might affect returning customers, as it’s not made known in the shop pages

No Scutie, but I do run Maze’s End, and I tell everyone ahead of time, I’ll set my gates aside, everyone is free to count to ten with me

Then I’ll choose for you. I can be the bad guy on this one. Until we get the KH4 combat music for Quadratum, because I know that’s gonna change things

I looked into it, it’s part of a federal regulation that was established to help prevent online scams. It did in fact go into effect after I opened my shop

Ok, so I knew that Blinded By Light is a certified banger, always will be, but I hadn’t heard Sophisticated Fight. After one listen, I can tell you, Sophisticated Fight is objectively better

Hold up, what? I run a shop on Etsy, and I have to pay a fee per listing and there are fees per sale, but I didn’t have to pay anything just to open the shop

Keep a pocket journal on you everywhere you go. They’re so helpful for writing through thoughts/feelings, keeping track of ideas, remembering tasks/groceries, or just taking down recommendations that people give

My partner and I were just talking about this. YoshiP regularly mentions in interviews that he likes players being able to step away from the game between patches, but this feels like a tether for anyone who owns player housing.

@gameovergreggy.bsky.social you’ve used both, right?

Then you need to brush up on communication, because the context of your statements and the general connotation of the phrase generally implies an insult. Your intent is irrelevant if it’s not aligned with the impact

See the highlighted portion of my second photo, where you refer to them as the “mentally ill one”

Questioning their relationship with Jirard is valid, I think, but it goes out the window when you act like an asshole. Save everyone the headache and just stop following people if you don’t agree with their works or words. You have the choice to just not engage
comment in response to post
Hey, just a bystander here, but to offer genuine feedback; you undermine any sincere criticism you’re trying to make the moment you default to using mental illness as an insult, or acknowledge that you’re speaking out of hate.

I was told this when it was a problem for me, and I gotta be honest with you, it doesn’t do enough to quell the frustration that it can cause initially. It’s only really helpful when you can kill enemies in the overworld

Oh god, is THIS the mobile adaptation? It looks like a screenshot I would see as one of those ads for games that end up being completely different in every way, with obviously stolen assets
