I was 6 when i watched that on vhs and was madly into horses. I kept rewinding the tape to try and warn the horse not to go into the swamp and got really upset/angry that it failed to listen to me

There are so many different theories and philosophies out there. Training as a Gestalt Therapist it's very much learning to accept yourself for all that you are, all your parts, without judgement, the wanted and unwanted parts in order to become more whole and more contactful with your environment.

Maybe what we need more of (in my opinion) is to find peace. Peace with our anger and our sorrow and depression, to accept that the way we are in the world is the way that we are. That whatever emotions we're feeling aren't wrong or unwanted, accepting them rather than burying them under a smile.

I don't think anyone is one dimensional in fairness. It's very easy to reduce someone down to one dimension, especially if we don't agree with them, but we're all way more complicated than that.

I always accept payment after the pic is done for similar reasons, being paid upfront causes all motivation to just evaporate. Like puts a weight or timer on my head or suddenly just feels really weighted.

Could you maybe have a convo with them if they're open to constructive crit, or maybe how their writing made you feel, not in a 'It was bad' way but in a 'This is how your story impacted me' kinda way. It doesnt have to be mean.

I'm also understanding that content warnings are pretty important these days. In the beginning I was quite resistant to those, but as time's gone on, I've understood their importance and significance.

This was interesting to read as I've written stories like this in the past. I will say I make content that hammer my own personal buttons and then share hoping others will enjoy. Sometimes folk like, sometimes folk hate and both are OK. I'd never say it was clumsy writing tho. Just very specific.

I appreciate the honesty here. I've had numerous folk over the years who hated my content or trolled me etc, only to later come back into my DM's apologizing, and confessing it was something they were secretly into and that the comic helped them work through that. So I'm glad my stuff helped.

Reminds me of the time I was commissioned to draw a character with a magic wand, and so i drew them with a sextoy and sent the commissioner the sketch for approval and they were like...um no...I meant a witches wand...the furry world really has ruined me.

Not so much chastity belts but padding so thick you cant go anywhere near that region, and im not sure little and DL go hand in hand as such, like for me its all about the babying and diapers happen to be a part of that. My interest goes mostly away if the babying aspect isnt there.

I really relate to that aimless feeling, trying to work out what that aimless feeling is doing for me. How it's trapping energy. Trying to work out what it is I actually need or want, often it's just wanting a connection with someone else.
