to be fair i also did not consider it a snub when margot robbie wasn’t given an academy award for barbie bc that was also a role that to me did not demand a high level of execution either so idk…. maybe i’m just harsh idk!!

she was a great casting choice and gave the character exactly what it needed… but the character didn’t need much. the story itself (thus far) did not demand any extraordinary feats of acting from that role. if she isn’t nominated i wouldn’t consider that a snub.

actually it needs to be gone by like 7:20 bc oomf said to see the movie in imax & for some reason the theatre 2 mins away from my apartment isn’t showing wicked on any of its imax screens so i have to drive to one +30mins away… 😔
