I tabled at cons in 2017-19 & already noticed the table costs alone shyrocketed over the short 3 years. As a newbie, I only sold home-produced art prints & broke even. But in 2019, I operated at a loss. I've looked into cons recently, & the rates are laughably expensive. The con scene is dying.

perhaps..... i dislike doing lineart. its fine for my comic, but tbh i RLY enjoy sketching and then picking at the sketch itself as a form of rendering. gonna experiment w some lineart styles today anf report back 🫡 also training my hand to do movements im very weak at is going well :D
