I used to work at the English service at Swedish public radio. It was founded in response to war tensions, in 1938. A few years ago I thought governments might respond to the threat of war by again investing in public service journalism. Instead they react by cutting it even further.

There’s studies that show even when people are informed what they’re looking at is propaganda it later influences how they respond to questions. You can educate yourself on how to defend against it, but there is no immunity.
