The vinyl obsession is really kicking in now. Unfortunately, Lionel skips and jumps a bit (vinyl surface was filthy) but I’ve found a top seller on eBay (Billy Ocean LP). Got some Chic coming my way, and another Billy Ocean LP, seeing Billy at Margate Dreamland this summer, hence the prep work!

Whilst the majority of my 45 collection were not considered a great loss, I was devastated that my first ever 45 also ended up in the rubbish when I moved house. But now the hi-fi is in operation again, it’s great to be reunited with this, thanks to eBay #hifi #45rpm #vinylrocks

Having gone through the vinyl collection, I came across this. My dad loved the Stones, he’d always do his Mick Jagger dancing whenever one of their tunes was playing. It’s a bit late now, so tomorrow evening I will be playing the whole album whilst raising a glass to the best dad up in the heavens!

So, after just 2 years in my new home, I’ve finally wired up my old Sony Hi-Fi (not Wi-Fi kids) from 1991, my 18th birthday present. And going through the vinyl inherited from the whole family, well what survived several house moves and loft storage. Not sure when I’ll next be watching TV!!

For anyone needing to renew, the online application is so much easier. I went to a photo booth for digital code and completed application on Tuesday. Passport Office received my old docs Wednesday, despatched new passport Thursday, arrived today (Friday). And I only paid for the standard service!
