Meine komplett unbelegte Theorie: die SD hat bis in die 80er hinein alles geschafft, was staatlich schafbar war. Für den einzelnen konnte dann darüber hinaus nicht mehr viel angeboten werden. D.h. die SD konnte sich nur mehr der Verwaltung und Korruption hingeben.
Ergebnis bekannt.

Ich glaub in Ö eher nicht. Die Arbeiterschaft haben sie verloren (nicht ganz zu unrecht, wobei natuerlich das Auffangbecken ein anderes Thema ist), die Bobos, die noch SPÖ wählen sind zahlenmäßig wenige, und das Personal, vor allem der Nachwuchs, ist leider auch eher cringe.
