Damn right. Don’t give them an inch voluntarily. They’ll take plenty without your help.

They’ll start with any competing contractors to Starlink and Spacex.

“Hegseth is going to be a great defense secretary, although he wasn’t my choice for the job,” Your words mean less than your votes.

“I’m not a prosecutor, I’m not a lawyer. I’m not qualified to know what impediment is. Hell, I’m not even qualified to do my job. I shouldn’t even be here… What are we talking about?”

My wife asked me today if we have to deal with four more years of this. I told her that the only way we get out of this in less than four years is if republicans reject MAGA. If they get fed up they can get their reps and senators to shit this bullshit down. I’m not optimistic.

Thank you for at least walking down there and speaking your mind. I’m not in your district but I want you to know I appreciate you for representing our great state.

Take good care of yourself. I imagine it’s gonna feel like the whole world is crazy when you’re surrounded by crazy people.

Great. Now impeach him, let congress grill him and fire his ass.

Thank you for this. Your advice to tell our congresspeople how we expect them to vote is spot on. Our new representative Janelle Bynum voted Yea on Laken Riley Act. She’s getting an earful from our family but it’s already too late. We will reach out in advance going forward.

So many bad things. Trump deploying troops to the border sets the worst kind of precedent and the people who voted for him KNEW it would happen. It’s only a matter of time before the military and the tools at its disposal are turned on the American people.

Last I heard it was still on hold. Did the Court of Appeals find it unconstitutional?

It sucks but it’s worth it. I still crave cigarettes 13 years after quitting but I feel way healthier, food tastes better and my sense of smell has improved.

My friend, there are some good things about Costco but they do not sell their products at cost.

Every character on our book shelf and every stuffed animal has a voice, and yes, many of them are imitations of celebrities. The best is when you hear them read the books in the same voices.

Pretend you live in the PNW! Vitamin D supplements help, but mostly set a date to go outdoors and don’t break it no matter what. Rain or shine your body will respond to the light and fresh air.

He’ll do as he’s told, and that’s what’s important.

Cool. What’s next? Bezos for small business? Hamburglar for surgeon general?

So why didn’t this happen in the United States? Like the US, Brazil has a congress and a Supreme Court. Unlike the US there are about 15 different political parties represented in Brazil. I think they’re less afraid of stepping on toes and Brazilian SC has a lot of power, for better or worse.

When I want to be reminded that the world is a cold, dark, violent place I read The Border Trilogy or Blood Meridian. When I want to sink into a pit of depression I read Suttree.

Trump sure knows how to pick ‘em!

Actually, he’s perfect! Trumps appointees are easily recognized by his supporters and they’re clueless enough about the actual job to be grateful when the Heritage Foundation ghouls give them direction.

Just crush a couple Auntie Anne’s pretzel dogs, get dunk at Bar Louie and accept the fact that your flight on American is going to be delayed, then cancelled.

Maybe instead of starter packs we need to start making Block Packs.

Damn fine products. I have a backpack that has literally been around the world with me multiple times and still looks new. Anyway, that’s a great approach to problem solving. Thanks for sharing.

Probably not anymore. The current MAGA brand of politics only understands that they must win at all costs. There is no nuance, no subtlety, no questioning. Simple authoritarianism. Obey, or be destroyed.

And they’re all gonna come running to him to complain about each other. It would be a lot of fun to watch if it wasn’t also a reflection of us as a country.
