Solid list. A few arguable snubs, but the stats are mixed on some comparisons (i.e. AT v AB stats let you argue either way) and it is hard to see who you bump for someone like Thornton, Diggins, Plum. Reese is likely hurt by the fact her run of really nice games came late in the voting period.

"To complete the trade" -- does that mean they are paying Smith enough that they would have been over the cap without dumping these salaries?

Maybe we apply the Senate's sliding taxes based on percent Chinese content to the phone?

W gets couples confused, sends Bonner to Dallas.
(Also: does this mean Becky is looking for more than zero points from the non-A'ja 4/5 position? Giving up on Kitley's development? Meg rehab behind schedule?)

to 14 before expanding the number of teams. It also helps mitigate the impact of all the expansion drafts.

Whatever. Good luck with building those winning coalitions, genius.

Nope. But i do think our side makes things harder than it has to be by thoroughly missing the point, intentionally or otherwise. But thanks for playing.

we haven't had enough votes when it counts to afford to attack our own people. We need to keep the fire where it belongs: on Republicans. Politics is math, and simple math at that.

Actually yes. The Mamdani "panic" is also stupid and counterproductive. Establishment got what it deserved on that one for backing Cuomo, who has done nothing to earn rehabilitation. All of which is consistent with my fundamental point:

And the Dems they vote for to fix it will be obstructed by Republicans, and years of corruption won't be completely fixed in months, so those voters will blame the Dems and vote back in the Repubs who did the harm to begin with. Because our politics are stupid that way.

1) Amihere needs to stay on a roster.
2) GSV is getting more dangerous all the time.
3) the Lynx are the team to beat.
4) NY is not the same without JJ
5) Angel's game is getting more complete.
6) with A'ja, you can never be counted out.
7) The future is bright (US AmeriCup cruised again.)

I caught the, uh, Frackin and Frassin (a couple of times each!), but not sure I saw the others.

Teal dress just tossing people around left and right. And after she clocks polka dot dress, polka dot's corner needs to throw in the towel!

This thread is literally why Republicans get elected - because the left eats its own for purity points. Even if you disagree with some aspect of Tyler's original post, the sheer mean-spiritedness among people broadly on the same side is absurdly counter-productive.

Has it occurred to you that the unpredictable suicide he refers to isn't what Trump is doing but rather the voters' choice to put Trump in again knowing better what he really was this time? That voting for these policies (intentionally or through ignorance or just owning the libs) is the issue?

As (1) points out, if changes in the legal framework for long-lead projects can be rushed through, and entire industries populated by large employers can have their markets stymied, investment of all kinds will be chilled: if it can happen to renewables today, it can happen to anyone else tomorrow.
comment in response to

Regardless of one's views on renewables specifically, this just seems shocking from an allegedly pro-business party. If an individual state did this people would be up in arms about the anti-investment climate it creates and how business would be lost to other states. >>

From the shooting slumps to the rash of injuries, a less compact schedule may not solve all woes, but it surely would help - and potentially allow spreading games out so fans can see more of them!

The 2 simpler explanations seem more plausible. She got beat out by Lexi for the starting wing and wanted to try and start somewhere. She wasn't liking being in an LDR when she was used to being where AT was. Or both.

Was flipping back and forth between this and the USA-Chile AmeriCup game, which, once the US team got rolling after a slow start, was a pretty fun watch.

Republicans are already starting the equating all Dems with Mamdani. Dems will struggle with that because while Dems govern much better than Repubs, Rs play the game of getting to govern much better than Ds.

More directly, Musk's apocalyptic ranting about spending and waving a chainsaw around gleefully helped create the atmosphere where the cutting these programs is seen as necessary. His buyers remorse is a bit belated; his role in this will grievously harm us all.

"all American wanted a progressive" - proof?
Progressives seem to think there is some silent far-left majority just waiting to be activated despite the fact that no election and no credible polling has ever showed national Progressive support/self-identification above about 20%.

And something pretty rare in a non-blowout like this: Every GSV player had a positive +/-! Also, Amihere kind of quietly led the team in rebounds with 9 in 17 min of PT (and added 3 assists for the heck of it.)

This is the smoothest and most comfortable Howard has looked in a Fever game. That middie fade cutting across the lane early in the 4th (i think) was pretty.
comment in response to

Last night we (Fever) were outscored by 20 on the last 10:05, so a 13 pt lead is definitely not safe.

Was at Fever game last night. The number of men wearing Caitlin jerseys and other branded shirts was pretty amazing.

Sure, they can rule against nationwide injunctions because when there is a local injunction against a Democratic President they will just expedite review and turn it into a Supreme Court ruling of nationwide applicability that way.

Or we could do assists, which by definition result in positive points.

Also I swear the Fever miss more within 5 ft than anyone else.
comment in response to

Agreed, but that would be true earlier in the game, too. Fever have had several lately where they've had a lead deep in the 3rd or at thex4th and lost. Late game fades.

So many clearly wrong calls against Indy tonight, and robbing Syd of that steal was just absurd.

I hope TV allowed you to read Syd's lips. She really got screwed on that one. But she said it a little less nicely.

She was in the ref's ear making a T sign then pointing to Clark's feet.
