I'd love to see an EU coalition attacking Russian positions within a week. Wrap this thing up with a little PR and a lot of SEAD/DEAD. Our isolationist position leaves it to Europe to defend Europe, so ... have at it, boys, plenty of targets available.

Damn, I wish getting under Trump's skin was a viable substitute for good governance. We'd be in the catbird seat, then.

Here's hoping that we have the legal system to encumber the executive at all. Personally. I'm not holding my breath, counting on Trump not to say "let him enforce it"

Only 4,000? Once he finishes this rambling rant, and starts putting pen to long-prepared paper, I expect the Schedule F reclassification is going to expand that to about 50,000.

It's a cute move, but makes no sense. If Trump is going to set either the DoJ, or his brown shirts, onto his enemies, what's a pardon expected to do? Pardons are for working within the rule of law, let alone norms.

Who is this supposed victory over, and who is it a victory for? Seems like he's defeating the experts and representatives who overwhelmingly approved and supported the law, and the courts who have thus far upheld the ban easily.
And it's a victory for the ChiCom Party, specifically the PLA ops.

RIP to a great auteur, and thanks for the body of work he made for us. Outside of his films and TV shows, I especially liked his performance in Louie.

So glad he decided to protest about it. I'm sure his valid, urgent rhetoric will immediately attract the attention of someone in power who is specifically vested with massive power and charged with taking necessary action. Just gonna hold my breath until that person shows up and solves it ...

Can't afford it, no matter how many people you kick off Medicare or gut Social Security or punch every homeless person in the face. We just can't scrape together enough to buy billionaires a third orgy pit on their second yacht. They'll have to make do with just two orgy pits on Yacht 2.

The US should absolutely ban TikTok, and is, and should. Conflating free speech nonissues with foreign malign influence, or whatabouting other social media that isn't owned by an autocratic geopolitical antagonist, is not useful.

That's a lot of word salad to say, "Comcast hasn't contributed to my inauguration grift yet, I would like to solicit a contribution from them now please yes."

The Speaker just said that the aid needs to be "carefully regarded" ... well, of course. Everybody knows you never go full regard.
Carefully Regarded should be the title of their life story, it sums up their entire political playbook.
