Aye this, and the skills are transferable to some mainstream game engines to some degree. You can absolutely learn enough to make a basic game as an amateur, just need to take it one step at a time.

The stuff that got an actual update like Pokemon and Link's Awakening are definitely the best but it seems basically every dodgy switch port has been massively improved. Arkham Knight was barely 20fps on Switch but it's holding 30 constantly on Switch 2.

Another expansion on this is that the Series S could've become the console of choice for tournaments and events because of the cost. But with this game and PlayStation owning EVO, it's not so realistic.

Between the arcade stick, EVO, and this, it's really very interesting that Sony is getting behind the FGC like this. Also kinda weird.
