Quantic Dream is the only major studio I can think of that has never made a sequel.

I like the console so far, but that dashboard is just so boring. Bring back the Wiiâs channel menu with those animated icons and that soothing music.

Hereâs how I see itâŚ
You know those old cartoons from the 30s and 40s that were full of racist imagery? You couldnât show those on TV today, but theyâre still works of art. They still deserve to be known, seen, and preserved. They just shouldnât be celebrated, since theyâre products of their time.

No company is completely free of bad history, but we should (if weâre able to) not give money to monsters.
For example, no one needs Harry Potter. There are dozens of fantasy IPs that donât puts trans lives at risk.

While I see where youâre coming from, itâs not that simple. As long as a terrible person can still profit from something, youâll still be supporting their terrible actions.

Not to mention that there are countless Potter alternatives. Lord of the Rings, Dungeons & Dragons, Discworld, Elder Scrolls⌠just to name a few!
Thereâs no excuse.

I believe Lewis Carroll once said âA work that only appeals to children will appeal to no one.â or something to that effect.

It goes back farther than that. Ever heard of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition? It's a heartwarming show where a struggling family is given a dream home. But how do they pay for their larger, fancier home? The show never bothered to address that, because it would ruin the "feel good" mood.

This reminds me of the 2000s obsession with "charity porn" and "inspiration porn", which was largely a byproduct of the reality show craze. Doing good things for poor people with the primary goal of attracting viewers and advertisers just feels exploitative.

Except when measuring the caliber of bullets.
