I have network with teachers all over the world and I think the claim that schools aren’t offering books is extremely misleading and false.

I believe “narrowing” what students read should apply to an individual’s children and not also everyone else’s children. I couldn’t listen/read what you provided without subscribing, which I am not willing to do. However, I have taught for over 20 years, in private, charter, and public schools.

But all schools offer books, so the claim of being dedicated to offering books while also banning them seems contradictory to me.

Hmmm. Not sure that is what I have observed in my local community. But maybe the classic ed movement we are talking about are not the same. Here, they promote book banning at public schools even though their children attend a charter school.

I would love to include this in a letter to the editor that I have been writing in my head, but I need your source so I can cite it. Do you have it?

I need a reliable alternative to Gmail. I have a yahoo account, but that’s no bueno. Quiting Amazon and Walmart is hard for me. In Florida, all my local stores support Trump.

I play the sea shanties from tik tok that make fun of them through my car speakers via blue tooth with my car windows down. It makes me feel better.

And that’s great and we should look at those road maps, but we can’t expect the people to speak up if they aren’t informed about what is happening and there are a lot of people who just don’t pay attention to politics or news. Sharing info at this stage is important.

I got this vaccine when it first became available to the general public. Still alive.
