*silently hides the wips that haunt me like ghosts behind me* Haha yeah, I love this au. I swear I had an idea for it a while back, but I don't remember where I wrote it down πŸ₯²

I hope he took good care of his mane, because my brain made the immediate connection to the eyebrow sweater from spongebob. Though I could easily see Binghe make another one out of his tears too πŸ˜‚

Happiness that they'll tell their friends about it, and that's honestly quite comforting. So go leave a comment on that cool fic you're reading. You might just make that author's day

That wip still opens automatically whenever I open my laptop. It'll see the light of day whenever I can finally get back into it πŸ₯² But thanks for reminding me of this

All I can imagine is Airplane choking in the middle of a meeting at the office: well, at least I don't have to do math anymore! No more excel sheets! No keeping our numbers in the black! Airplane blinks, opening his eyes as SQH during a peak lord meeting about the sect's budget: ...frick

Don't you dare touch those!! Let them sit in your wip for a day or two and go back to reread them with fresh eyes Half of my fics would have never seen the light otherwise πŸ˜… Or copy paste them in a new doc and try rewriting them in a way that fits while using them as a guide

Are we the same person? I got a comment on a fic that's on hiatus yesterday and went back to read it again, only to realize that 1. It was actually a pretty good story and 2. I need to write the rest myself because I ended on a cliffhanger

I'd argue that you're actually pretty good at it, you just need practice at filling in the gaps between scenes

Thank you πŸ’• Everytime I look at them, I wonder if I sold part of my soul to complete them. Then I rewatch the speed draw and see myself descend into madness in 1.5 x speed while drawing πŸ˜‚

Oh well, it still worked out in the end. Though SJ would have never anticipated ending up in the cold pond that night. Not that he would complain. β€”The End Happy Mermay!

Learning that the jiaoren was just that generous when giving out his trust, SJ finally set to work. Today would be the day he would boost his cultivation! Though, looking back, he should have known that life never adhered to his plans if they were to his own benefit.
comment in response to post
Fortunately for SJ, the jiaoren had been quite pleased to simply settle in his arms and didn't even protest when he called Ming Fan to prepare a cauldron for the creature's β€žbathβ€œ. …Again, this was too easy. There had to be a catch somewhere!
comment in response to post
The flight back was less impressive if you took into account that SJ was trying to grab onto the slippery jiaoren who seemed far too pleased to be so high up in the air.

SY: /Success! I have avoided being made into a nice steak and get a handsome cultivator as well!/ SJ: /I'll have to play along for now. If he keeps tensing like that he'll be too hard to chew. ...Maybe I should make a slow cooked soup? The kitchen should have vegetable stock.../
comment in response to post
SY breathed a sigh of relief, suddenly aware that he had been shivering the entire time. "...Fine. But you'll have to take a bath before I let you roam around my peak. I don't want the peak to smell like salt and algae."
comment in response to post
...Look. If SY was going to end up as someone's meal, he might as well get dessert first while he still can. SY could see the thoughts forming behind those eyes. Finally, after a few minutes of silence, the cultivator lowered the sword.
comment in response to post
/Aren't people less likely to harm you if they get to talk to you? I just have to become a person in his eyes!/ "I can help you cultivate!" "Yes, that's the idea." The handsome cultivator seemd unimpressed. "No, I mean- I'm way more useful alive! We can cultivate together!"
comment in response to post
As an avid reader of PIDW, SY had an inkling that he would end up as that handsome guy's lunch if he didn't think fast. "...You have 30 seconds." Shen Yuan gulped, his whole body tensing with the cold metal edge following the movement of his throat.
comment in response to post
SY's ears twitch at the sudden sound of footsteps and as soon as he turns around, a sharp blade is pressed to his neck. "WAIT." The blade stills for a moment and dark eyes drag him into their stormy depths. "You don't have to kill me! There's other ways to get what you want!"
comment in response to post
SY, who had been dragged through time and space to find himself missing his legs, cursed at the system. HOW WAS HE SUPPOSED TO SWIM AND MEET COOL MER-FOLK WHEN HE WAS RESTRICTED TO THE CONFINES OF A GLORIFIED PUDDLE?
comment in response to post
In the oldest part of QJP's archive, SJ had found a way to fix his meridians at least partially, and all he needed was the beautiful creature spacing out in front of him. Nothing was going to stop him.
comment in response to post
Well, there was no sense in wasting such an opportunity. If the Jiaoren was sick and exiled from the group, he'll simply let the brute take a bite first. Not that he would need the cultivation boost, though it would be amusing to see the brute wobbling to Qian Cao Peak.

In the middle of a shallow pond sat a jiaoren, simply looking up at the sunbeam filtering through an opening high above their heads. The dark thread of hair sparkled in the sunlight while they stared into nothingness. /This was too easy. Almost like they want to be found./

Towns and mountains passed him by until the smell of salt finally hit his nose. There, hidden in the forest with an underground connection to the ocean, lay the blue depths. The waterlogged system of caverns housed plenty of fascinating life forms, but only one was of interest.
