I am not surprised. The world saw what (now) Vice President Bunker Boy did from January 20, 2017 to January 20, 2021.
Those four years seem negligible compared to the first 31 days of this regime.
Everyone with their eyes and ears open saw it coming. No one expected this quickly.

I abhor tax cuts for the rich. That just added to the debt and deficit and screwed over the most vulnerable.
While I believe in fiscal responsibility (which the current Republican Party has abandoned, I am also of the thought "You are only as strong as the weakest link".

The only reason I haven't switched to Independent is so I can still have a voice in the PA Primaries and attempt to vote out MAGA for someone who at least appears sane.

I am a center right registered Republican and I feel the same way about the Republican Party.
People have asked me why I haven't switched to Dem since my viewpoints are closer to Dems (not opposed to Progressive ideas. Huge reservations on now Dems want to implement).

I was just thinking that Buttigeg and Newsom are the leaders of getting the message out.
But, back to the outlets, yes, there are far more non-MSM outlets that spout the right wing propaganda. I agree the Dems need to get more influential voices in the spaces where the young folks current get info.

The Meidas Touch, Brian Tyler Cohen and the Conservative outlet The Bulwark do a great job getting the word out about the dangers of President Muskrat and VP Bunker Boy.

It doesn't need to even be a propaganda machine. The Dems just need an effective communicator who isn't afraid to go where the voters are to get the message out. Pete Buttigeg and Gavin Newsom immediately come to mind.

I am not necessarily opposed to the Progressive ideas. I do have questions on *how* they would be implemented.
But again, I am in the small minority on this front.
The Dems would have to figure out the best messaging to get buy in from the "other side" if they were to regain power.

The bigger issue is the Democrats are terrible at effectively expressing their platform and in a way to get buy in from folks similar to me. Often, their stance is "our way or get left behind". No one wants to feel like they are not being heard, which is exactly how most Dems come across

However, I am in the small minority of the sliver of the electorate I am a part of.
Part of the reason is there is enough opposition to some policies (one being transgender rights) that would make it a tough sell for the non-MAGA conservatives.
