I couldn't either Shadow Bunny passed in 2013. She was 9. She was very ill when we got her & the vet thought she wouldn't last more than a couple years. She couldn't be replaced. So we got cats....& I keep rescuing them.... I'm at 5 & counting😂

Absolutely. And something most people don't know is the church gets tax exempt status, but the clergy, in many instances, pays self employment tax on their income &/or living allowance. Absolutely ridiculous

That's awesome! Bunnies get overlooked. People don't understand how great they are. We adopted a sick lop eared years ago. She slept with us, went on vacation with us... loved to ride in the car. She hated the feeling of grass on her paws. I'd take her out on a leash & she refused to touch it lol

I don't disagree with you. There's just so much misinformation in the thread & a lot of charities are being hurt by it. A store collecting for them saves the charity a ton in advertising

They don't & can't write it off. It's not income to them. It shows on your receipt at the bottom so you can, if you're eligible, write it off

They don't get the tax deduction. It should show at the bottom of your receipt. They just collect it & of course choose the charity. But the majority of people can't write it off anyway because they don't itemize
