Experiential knowledge is highly personal, and it is never depicted as antagonistic to medical expertise. This helps us to show that experiential knowledge is complex and rich and can complement medical expertise in the treatment of long-term and/or chronic health conditions. (3/3)

We analyzed how participants in health fora on chronic conditions construct their experiential knowledge as patients and share that experience with more recently diagnosed patients. We see that the frequency and strategies used also vary depending on the condition. (2/3)

Incredible. We need to resist this kind of automatised systems that don't recognise an essential part of ourselves, namely our name.
