Trump got slightly more votes than he did in 2024, but VP Harris received over 8 million fewer votes than President Biden did in 2020. 8 million+ previously Democratic voters opted not to vote in this election. The difference in popular votes between Trump and Harris was just over 3 million.

It is sad for some, indeed. But f Trump leads us into WW3, and/or puts the brakes on combatting global warming, we may not have to worry about grandchildren—there might be no place left for them to live.

He doesn't have to tiptoe. He can stride out with his head held high. He did a helluva job. Hopefully threats against him and his family will now cease. I hope so. With his exit, along with Joe, Jill, Kamala, and Doug's, so much decency will be gone, but it's not their doing.
