It was finally nice enough to walk to the nature trail in my town and check in out and as soon as we get there I'm greeted with this. This town is so damn unwalkable. I just want a space where my dog can enjoy being outside away from constant cars they stress him out 😭😭

Not to ask the dumbest question possible but how do I find opportunities to help and resist within my community (protests/volunteer opportunities/etc)? Anywhere i would have known to start my search was specific to my city and now that I am in a new city/state I feel so disconnected.

I've been spending the last day or so scrolling through all the reactions to this news, both here and on X. Outside of your usual chuds, most of the VML's detractors seem to misunderstand what the organization is, or simply have no idea at all. To survive the coming years, we MUST combat this. 🧵

Nile would not have gotten back into magic without VML I would never have gotten into magic without Nile which means a significant portion of my friends who now play would not have gotten (back) into playing magic without VML. the ripple effects of this group were far reaching and wonderful.

This news is devastating. The vml has helped me grow as a player, created and strengthened many friendships, and provided a sense of community that frequently feels absent in the existing tournament landscape. Wizards should be ashamed of themselves. I am ashamed of them.
